Setting up goals in my life! | Girl Here

July 11, 2019 Girl Here 0 Comments

As a teenager, I am pretty satisfied with what I have right now. It's not a lot, but for me, it's enough and I am really thankful for it.

I am kind of dreamer: I love to think about my future. I imagine that my future is bright, but I don't really know that.

That is the thing about the future, it can be really unpredictable and when you really look at it, it can be scary, but I always like to think positive so I set myself goals that I HAVE TO achieve!

So the first thing, (just you know...to get started...) is the motorcycle. I absolutely love them! I love everything about them except their prices. They are really expensive, and I don't have that much money, and honestly, I have no idea how to earn that much money. Here where I live (Bosnia and Herzegovina) things are kind of falling apart... it's kind of complicated, but as a teenager, it would be really hard to find myself a job, so as soon as I earn enough money I am going to buy myself a motorcycle.

Then, I want to finish university. I am still not sure what I really want to be, but one thing that caught my eye is Software developer, so maybee I will finish that, I am not sure!!! OKKK... (it's kind of sensitive subject for me).

Istanbul, Turkey: find me there in a few years living my best life! When I said I am a dreamer I really thought it.

So the city of my dreams: Istanbul. There are no words to describe this wish. I don't think I would be happy if I stay here, in Bosnia, and since I speak Turkish pretty good I have a big wish to live there. I love everything about that city, I love Turkish language and it seems to be a perfect place for me.

Then, when I move to Istanbul I want to get one fluffy little friendly cat. I know I don't have the chance to choose my cats personality but I hope it's going to be nice and friendly.

I want to have enough money to help others in need. This one is really motivating for me because I love helping others. It keeps me working hard and giving my best, especially at school.

I want to get married once or never in my life. No need to explain this one, it's just something that always I felt like is right for me.

Few of my biggest goals are to always be happy and to do what I love, to have a job that I love. I feel like if I had a job that I hate doing I would be so unhappy. And actually, that is true! When I don't love what I do I won't do it for a long time, that's for sure.

And I think that that's it! At least for now. I hope I am going to make an update in a few years saying that I accomplished most of my goals from this list and setting a new one up. Ok, life is really weird because you can never know where is leading you!

I hope my future self is in a few years even more ambitious than I am right now!

Anyways, I really recommend writing down your goals and working on them.
If we have similar goals or your goals that you want to share feel free to comment below, I would love to read them!

How to start healty lifestyle? | Girl Here

July 11, 2019 Girl Here 0 Comments

I know that a lot of people struggle with getting their lives together and living their lives as healthier as they can. It is hard, it's just not something that anyone can change overnight. It takes time and a lot of sacrifices.

Start slow. Don't just go on one day doing all these things below. It might be overwhelming for you and your body. Take it slow and gradually make more healthy choices,

I won't lie, sometimes I find myself living my life in the worst way I could. Eating unhealthy, not being active at all, being unsocialized are just some of them. I am definitely not the only one who sometimes struggles with unhealthy habits, and that is the reason I wanted to make this post, to help others.

Whoever said it's easy, it isn't! But also, it's not that hard either. You just have to set yourself a goal and be positive about it. Nothing good will come with a negative mind!

1.       Go out and enjoy your life, because you know, you won't live forever on this planet. Some people would say that is really negative from me to say that „ you won't live forever“, because it reminds them that they are going to die one day, but while I am trying to be positive I am also trying to be realistic and aware of the fact that we should live our best lives, because we ARE still alive.

2.       Eat healthily! Everyone says that and that is true. Eat as clean as you can. Don't eat all those junk food that your body simply DOESN'T NEED! It needs healthy proteins, carbs fats, vitamins, and you can not find that in junk foods.

3.       Be active! Go for a walk, run, do workouts... Workout at least 3 times per week. It takes time to get used to working out but I hope you know that good feeling after a workout. It's the best thing to know that you are getting stronger, but it also takes a lot of time and practice. Just be consistent and patient, and of course, don't give up!

4.       Dring a lot of water! You probably heart this one so many times, but I have to say it one more time: Water is so important for you! I am trying to dring at least 2,5 liters and when I drink less I feel so sick. Also if you have frequent headaches, as I do, drink A LOT OF WATER.

If water is too boring for you, put half of the lemon in your cup and a few cucumber rings and enjoy amazing taste. I don't change lemon and cucumber every time I refill the cup- I put fresh lemon and cucumber in the water and leave it overnight and the next day I would just refill my cup.

One thing that helps me a lot during a day is heaving a bottle of water with me. And when you finish your water make sure to refill it and count how many times have you refilled it. I use a bottle of 1 liter so it's simpler to keep the count.

5.       One thing that I am still learning to do is listening to my body, not my emotions. Sometimes I am so unmotivated to do any kind of activities and at those time I feel like my body just doesn't want activity, not considering that I am just being lazy. But also there is a time when my body NEEDS rest and I am just not giving it any. Sometimes it is really hard to find a balance between emotions and what your body actually needs.

6.       Try reading books. If you really don't like books at least give it a chance, maybe you will love it after! I have a lot of book suggestions but few that I really recommend you can find on Books that made me love reading! The only thing that I could say about these books is that they are really worth reading.

7.       Find yourself a hobby. There are so many hobbies that I made one post just covering finding new hobbies 10 Hobbies that you will love to start! (coming soon) , and guarantee you that you will like at least one of them.

And least and one of the most important one is: always be positive and have faith in yourself! Be patient with changes because they can't be made in one day or even a week.

How to grow strong and long nails? | Girl Here

July 10, 2019 Girl Here 0 Comments

(These are my nails on photo)

When it comes to taking care of my nails I do have some "hacks"  that can help you grow them strong and long.

I always let them grow long and the key to that is to NOT cut them even if one of them breaks. I used to always do this before: When one of my nails breaks I cut all of them off thinking that they don't look nice at all, but I was definitely wrong! You need to be patient with them and let that nail that broke, grow and be like others!

I wrote down some steps that I want to share with you and help you grow long and beautiful nails:

1. It is necessary to file your nails at least once in two weeks!

2. If your nail brakes, DON'T  cut it all of! Just cut a minimal part that really needs to be cut, and that file it. If your nail is uneven don't worry, let it grow a little bit more and than even it out.

3. If you want your nails to grow quicker use castor oil. Take a small amount and spread it over your cuticles and nail. Castor oil also makes your hair grow faster so don't put it on places where hair is unwanted.

4. Most people say that you need nail polish as some kind of protective layer, but it is not true. I mean it does make sense but you really don't need it if you don't want to. I grow my nails without nail polish and no nail polish works perfectly for me!

5. Be careful when your hands are longer in water. They tend to soften and be more 'flexible' and easier to break. So just be careful!

6. Be careful while doing simple tasks like opening something or catching something. I broke so many nails on such stupid ways like opening something and it is so annoying that one wrong move can lead to broken nail (which is obviously disaster).

7. Clean your nails! This one is so important because there is so bacterias around you and it's really easy for them to get under your nail. Also, it can lead to having bacterias getting into your stomach and sometimes it can cause a lot of problems!

And that's it what I have for you. If you have some recommendations feel free to write them down in comments!

beauty,

How to find the color that suits you the best? | Girl Here

July 09, 2019 Girl Here 1 Comments

There is a lot of things that will decide what colors will bring out your natural beauty.
A big part of what colors suits you the best is figuring out are you warm toned, cool toned or neutral. One of the ways to find that out is taking a look at your veins.
Follow the pictures that I found:
How to know are you warm cold or neutral skintone

It's not all about what skin tone are you. You can show you're personality with what you wear too!
If you're a person who likes to „be seen" (there is nothing wrong with that), you should consider wearing colors that will catch everyone's eye which are colors like: yellow, pink, purple, etc.
Stylish women with beautiful outfit
But if you don't want to „be seen" that much, but still want to look good, you should try with some darker shades of yellow, pink, purple, etc.
I used to ALWAYS wear black/dark clothes and always stay in my comfort zone. Even though I love all bright colors I thought that I can't pull off colorful looks... I was wrong!
Somehow I found jacket (looks similar to the picture) that I loved but never wear. One day I decided to wear it and I felt beautiful and really confident. I was surprised! (I got a lot of compliments too :P)
Since then I made a deal with myself to be more open-minded when it comes to trying different and unusual things!

Books that made me love reading! (must read books) | Girl Here

July 09, 2019 Girl Here 0 Comments

Many people struggle with reading books and I was one of them. I loved the whole „reading atmosphere“ thing but I was too lazy to just reading.
The books that I fall in love with in the beginning of my reading career are:
1. Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
It was my favourite book since I was young and I read it so many times and it hasn’t bored me yet. It just makes me feel good, and it makes me want to be better person.
I highly recommend this book to ANYONE! It’s easy to read and it’s really short, but still so beautiful.
2. Hot Ice – Nora Roberts
I finished this book in “one breath”. It is so powerful and intense that your mind just can not stop thinking about what could happened next.
This book is romantic thriller and the only thing I can say is: Nora Roberts knows what she is doing!
3. Romeo and Juliet - William Shakespeare
Honestly, I was very sceptical about this book, but when I read it I realised why is this book so popular even these days. I though that it is going to be really different than now-days romantic books since it was published in 1597 , and it was, but in a good way. It was different than anything I have ever read and I loved it!
So, I hope I helped you with what book should you read next. Read them, I promise you definitley won’t regret it!

How I got rid of very dry skin? | Girl Here

July 09, 2019 Girl Here 0 Comments

I used to have such dry skin. If you are wondering sometimes dry pieces of skin were just falling and ripping out of my face, which is really disgusting... I know.
I tried a lot of products but from some of them I got rid of dry skin but I also got breakouts (a lot).
My face becomes a home for oily acne.
As I said I tried a lot of stuff and in the end, I found THE ONE! It is this amazing Balea anti-pickle 24H-pflege (care) cream. I apply it on the clean skin in the morning and at the night. It feels moisturizing and refreshing but NOT HEAVY!
Also, when it comes to the breakouts, sometimes I get them and really fast get rid of then thanks to this amazing Balea SOS gel (I am not sponsored by Balea I just like their stuff :DD).I just apply it on the spots where I have some problems about two times a day.
I hope I helped some of you and I have to say: If something works for me it doesn't mean that it will also work for you, but it also doesn't mean that it won't, so I suggest you try it (all these products are pretty cheap).
xx
